Tyndale Thomas and Lynne Marsh run suberb songwriting workshops!! Also, Simon Lyon (ruthless producer) is excellent at any Music Tech based session. In February I took a group of year 8 pupils to Liverpool Slavery Musuem where they took part in an African Music session, the two chaps working there were also brilliant. I have contact details for most of the above if u need. :-)

I am particularly impressed with Richard Michael's jazz workshop activities and his inspirational delivery. Www.richardmichaelmusic.com

Also Simone Rebello's workshops with Backbeat are brilliant!

I used Robert Maeseko for a one day workshop on African Drumming and singing. A lovely man who has been CRB checked and can provide approx 25 djembe/conga drums. Went down a storm with my Year 7 students and did a lovely talk about how the djembe drum is made (and the material used to make it). I would strongly reccommend him.
