Hi everyone I was wondering if you would be kind enough to forward this email on to students or anyone else for that matter that uses creativity to gain a general sense of well being. I work for the company Spiritual England - www.spiritualengland.org.uk and we are currently running a project about music, art and spirituality and how through the creative arts we can release pain and find something spiritual as well. Calling all art students, lecturers and musicians. Would you be willing to share your views in this area or perhaps give quotes? I am looking to add these to our website. For example, many people have described creative arts as being tuned in to a “higher force” . I am a singer/songwriter and sometimes when I write I feel guided and the words come to me as if out of nowhere and this often feels very spiritual as it allows me to expand my creativity. Perhaps other people have experienced something similar and used the arts as a kind of self help therapy? If this is the case I would be very interested to hear your thoughts and experiences.
