A new HE3 Course, Springboard Module 3, will be offered for the first time during the BKA Summer School in August 2010. This will replace the previous Sound Beginning and Sound Progressions Courses. Successful completion will lead to accreditation by Roehampton University, and full details will be available soon.
There will be two entry routes to the new course, either through having completed Springboard Modules 1 and 2, or by a 'fast track' option. All students enrolling must have been assessed as achieving at least 60% in the BKA Elementary musicianship assessment, and those opting for the 'Fast Track' option will also need to complete the Module 1 and 2 assignments.
There will be an opportunity to undertake the musicianship assessment on Sunday, 24th January in London.
The Module 1 and 2 assignments for ‘Fast Track’ applicants will be due by 30th April.
Anyone choosing the 'Fast Track' option will need to register their intention to sign up for Springboard Module 3 by the 30th January by writing to courses@britishkodalyacademy.org.
