Here are the 10 winning fanfares from the 2010 Royal Opera House Fanfare competition. They were orchestrated by young composers together with Composer Duncan Chapman and members of the ROH orchestra. Winners then revised, rehearsed and recorded the fanfares with Antonio Pappano at the Royal Opera House.
The fanfares will be used to replace the traditional hand balls to call the audience back to their seats from the interval during the Summer 2010 season.
